Warsaw Man Arrested After Police Pursuit

A Warsaw man was arrested on Friday, Nov. 29 following a police chase throughout downtown Warsaw that ended in the Chapman Lake area.

According to Warsaw Police Department Public Information Officer Kip Shuter, Kyle Jeffery Moore, 22, of 1826 Sue Ave., Warsaw, was arrested after he fled from an officer who had attempted to pull him over for false/fictitious plates. According to Shuter, Moore fled up Detroit Street to 100 East and then towards Suburban Acres finally ending in Chapman Lake where his vehicle died. The pursuit ended after Moore’s vehicle broke down. Shuter stated five officers assisted in the police chase.

Moore was arrested for resisting law enforcement forcibly with a vehicle, driving while suspended, reckless driving by aggressive driving with three or more offenses, possession of marijuana and possession or paraphernalia. Moore was granted a $10,000 bond.
