John Andrew Norris, 32, of North Vernon, Ind., passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014, in Jennings County, Ind.
John worked as a warehouse attendant for 6 months with Exegistics in North Vernon and had previously worked for AISIN USA in Seymour and currently worked part-time for Circle K Gas Station for 1 year.
He was a member of Boy Scouts of America and served as a leader and on the Boy Scout Committee. He was a 2000 graduate of Warsaw Community High School in Warsaw, Ind., and he served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed hunting, coaching soccer, riding motorcycles and tattoos.
John was born on July 25, 1981, in Kosciusko County, Ind., the son of Jo Anne (Fouts) Williams. He married Natasha Guenthenspberger on May 13, 2012, in Brown County, Ind.; she survives in North Vernon, Ind.
John is also survived by his daughter: Claire Norris, North Vernon; three sons: John Ryne Norris, Kyle Francis Norris and Zachary Liam Norris, all of Pennsylvania; two step-sons: Gabriel Guenthenspberger and Vincent Clark, both of North Vernon; his mother and stepfather: Jo Anne and Kevin Williams, Warsaw; three brothers: William (Jamie) Norris and Robert Norris, both of Warsaw; James (Asacia) Norris, Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister: Krista (Steve) Parmenter, Warsaw; maternal grandparents: John and Sharon Fouts, Syracuse, Ind.; his paternal grandmother: Ruth Richters, Grabill, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his uncle: John Kevin Fouts.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 420 S. State St., North Vernon. Another visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, April 7, at Redpath Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw. His funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, April 7, at Redpath Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Scott Wiley. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw with military graveside honors.
