Pierceton Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Heritage Gathering Primitives Show and Holiday Shop Hop on Saturday, Dec. 7.

The primitive show starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m., in Pierceton Elementary School.
At 11 a.m. in the main area show, there will be a free demonstration by Kerry Hippensteel on how to make fresh Christmas decorations with things found in the yard. At 1 p.m., April Kindig will be giving a demonstration on how to make a burlap holiday wreath.

During the primitive show, there will be the popular horse drawn sleigh ride, sponsored by Lake City Bank, picking up and dropping off visitors at the school. The sleigh ride will be through the parking lot and around the quaint town. Individuals may ride the sleigh for a freewill donation to the local food bank.

While those activities are underway there will be a town wide shop hop taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pick up a passport at any participating shop and travel to all the shops on the passport and then be entered into a drawing for a $200 grand prize gift basket.
Stop by the quaint town of Pierceton and start celebrating the holidays with the residents and businesses in Pierceton.
