HeadshotLloyd K. “Kent” Kruckeberg, 53, of Whitestown, Ind., passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014.

He was born Aug. 7, 1960, in Greenville, Ohio, to Lloyd Kruckeberg and Lynda Fourman.

He grew up in Wabash, Ind., and graduated in 1979 from Wabash High School. He attended Ball State University in Muncie, Ind.

He lived in many places including Warsaw, Ind., before moving to Zionsville, Ind. He was employed at Midwest Jewelers and Estate Buyers in Zionsville as a goldsmith and has worked in the jewelry industry for many years.

He formerly attended Warsaw Community Church, was very athletic and enjoyed all sports especially wrestling and motor cross racing.

He is survived by a daughter: Kelli Kruckeberg, Peru, Ind.; a son: Zach Green, Arizona; his mother: Lynda Fourman, Syracuse, Ind.; his father: Lloyd Kruckeberg, Fort Myers Beach, Fla.; and two sisters: Elizabeth “Liz” Fritz, Syracuse; and Belinda “Billi” Kruckeberg, Bradford, Ohio.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Memorial services will follow at 4 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Harlan Steffen of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating.
