PaxtonTerry L. Paxton, 72, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 6:49 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2014, in Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne, Ind.

On Sept. 7, 1941, he was born in Carlisle, Pa., to Ralph and Viola (Myers) Paxton.  He was united in marriage to Martha Bender on June 27, 1964, in Newville, Pa., whom survives.

Terry moved to Kosciusko County in 1995. He worked at Wabash Valley Manufacturing, Silver Lake, Ind., where he retired in 2002. He then worked part-time for Richard’s Restaurant, Warsaw. He was a member of Warsaw Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed spending a lot of time with his family and grandchildren, who he loved to, entertain by playing his guitar.

He is survived by his wife: Martha Paxton, Warsaw; his daughter: Christine A. (Dennis) Hench, Warsaw; his son: Thomas (Melissa A.) Paxton, New Bloomfield, Pa.; his brother: Robert Paxton, Carlisle, Pa.; three sisters: Shirley Edgecomb, Shippensburg, Pa.; and Loretta Paxton and Linda Greenewalt, both of Carlisle, Pa.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter: Linda Sue Sanchez; and four brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 29, at Warsaw Wesleyan Church, Warsaw. A memorial service will follow at noon with Pastor Andy Weaver and Pastor Anthony Cottrell officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
