Robert G. CobleRobert G. Coble, 82 of Warsaw, passed away at 11:35 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

On Jan. 8, 1932, he was born in North Manchester, Ind., to Alfred Darwin and Sarah Ann (Reed) Coble. He was united in marriage to Lora Mae, who preceded him in death, and then he was united in marriage to Judy Alexander in February 2006, who preceded him in death. On Aug. 5, 2006, he was united in marriage to Genelle Lourine Allen in Warsaw. She preceded him in death on Dec. 6, 2013.

Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1953–1955. He retired from R.R. Donnelley and Sons, Warsaw. Robert was a member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, Senior Activity Center, American Legion Post No. 49 and the Moose Lodge all of Warsaw. He enjoyed helping with cleaning the church.

Robert is survived by three stepsons: Jesse Hurley and Robert Hurley, both of Warsaw; and James Hurley, Northern California; his stepdaughter: Lorna Sue Beverly, Bountiful, Utah; his brother: Jerry Coble, Norco, Calif.; and a grandchild: Alex Hurley, Warsaw.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Ethel Marie Coble and his brother, Everett E. Coble.

Visitation hours will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at the McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Warsaw with Pastor David Cripe officiating and military honors by the American Legion Post No. 49 and VFW Post No. 1126. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, North Manchester at a later date.
