Daniel Roman Katzer, 23, of Milford, Ind., passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Barbee Lake, Warsaw.
He was born Oct. 17, 1990, in Warsaw, to Mark and Patricia (Seaman) Katzer. He was a 2009 graduate of Wawasee High School in Syracuse, Ind.
Daniel was a concrete finisher for Pioneer Masonry. He enjoyed outdoor activities including BMX riding, snow boarding, hunting and fishing. He had a huge sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was looking forward to building up his skill levels while working in the family business (Pioneer Masonry) with his dad and brothers.
He was a member of Living Faith Fellowship.
Daniel is survived by five brothers: Jeff (Cheryl) Katzer, Milford, Ind.; Joel (Kelley) Katzer, Warsaw; and David Katzer, Nathan Katzer and Michael Katzer, all of Milford; two sisters: Grace (Andrew) Suranyi, Milford; and Moriah (Nathan) West, Elkhart, Ind.; 10 nieces and nephews; his paternal grandparents: Roman and Joy Katzer, Eagle River, Wisc.; aunts and uncles and 22 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Paul and Sylvia Seaman.
No visitation is planned. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at Syracuse Cemetery, Syracuse, Ind. Lead Pastor Ben Stoffel of Living Faith Fellowship, will officiate.
