“After School is Cool” Tuesdays

On Nov. 26, Miss Heidi is planning to show you how to make some Thanksgiving placemats and play holiday word puzzles.  “After school is cool” Tuesdays are for students, kindergarten through fifth grade.  Bring a friend who has never attended one of our after school programs and earn a candy bar for yourself and one for your friend!

Nutrition Program

Joan Younce from the Kosciusko County Purdue Extension will be presenting “Simple Holiday Concoctions” at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 25. Samples and recipes are available for all who attend. If you are planning on entertaining family and friends this holiday season, you shouldn’t miss this informative program! Sign-up at the adult desk beginning Nov. 18. Invite a friend! There will be door prizes!

Miss Heidi will cook up some good stories at 10:15 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Nov. 27, and celebrate Thanksgiving. Miss Heidi will read ‘Twas The Night Before Thanksgiving, by Dav Pilkey and Turkey Trouble, by  Wendi Silvano, plus other delicious Thanksgiving tales. Please bring your recipe pages to Story Time and also a snack to share with all your friends.  Our annual Thanksgiving Feast is the last story time of fall session. Winter session will begin in February, 2014.
