Thursday, Nov. 14, 8 p.m. South SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Deborah L. Ellingwood, 58, West 600 South, Claypool. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $10,000

Thursday, Nov. 14, 6:04 p.m. West SR 25, Burket. Driver: Carolyn H. Newman, 45, West Main Street, Mentone. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000

Thursday, Nov. 14, 4:25 p.m. 2961 E. U.S. 30. Drivers: John R. Rupe, 67, Lakewood Hills Drive, Warsaw; and Lorraine K. Zirkle, Robin Drive, Warsaw. Rupe was backing out of parking space at Penguin Point when he struck Zirkle’s parked vehicle. Damages: up to $1,000

Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Friday, Nov. 15, 8:25 a.m. Logan Street. Driver: Rhapsody S. Skaggs, 32, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $2,500

Thursday, Nov. 14, 5:25 p.m. Detroit Street and Lake City Highway 059D Ramp. Drivers: Melissa A. Collins, 36, North Vicky Lane, Warsaw; and Matthew R. Stamm, 22, Gilliam Drive, Warsaw. Collins was attempting a left turn from northbound Detroit Street to the westbound ramp for Lake City Highway when she pulled into the path of Stamm who was southbound on Detroit Street. Collins complained of chest pains. Damages: up to $25,000

Thursday, Nov. 14, 5:10 p.m. West Winona Avenue and South Union Street. Drivers: Dakota L. Schmitt, 22, Kinney Drive, Warsaw; and James F. Dubbs, 63, Perry Street, Warsaw. Schmitt was southbound on Union Street approaching Winona Avenue when he entered the intersection and collided with Dubbs who was eastbound. Damages: up to $10,000

Thursday, Nov. 14, 1:31 p.m. East Center Street and North Detroit Street. Drivers: Abbye B. Carver, 19, County Road 50, Nappanee; and Robert L. Konkle, 77, North Old Orchard Drive, Warsaw. Both Carver and Konkle were traveling east on Center Street when Carver rear-ended Konkle’s vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500

Thursday, Nov. 14, 11:39 a.m. 3507 Commerce Drive. Drivers: Virginia D. Gaerte, 64, East Blossom Lane, Warsaw; and Carolyn S. Bickel, 62, EMS B37 Lane, Warsaw. Gaerte was backing out of a parking space and backed into Bickel’s vehicle. Damages: up to $10,000

Thursday, Nov. 14, 10:30 a.m. Lake City Highway and Meijer Drive. Drivers: Mark D. Burgess, 41, South 400 West, Hebron; and Sandy J. Brantley, 37, Foxwood Trail, Valdosta, Ga. Burgess stated that he was eastbound on U.S. 30 and, as he approached the traffic light, did not notice Brantley’s vehicle stopping. Burgess attempted to avoid the collision by swerving to the right but struck Brantley’s trailer and a traffic signal pole. Burgess complained of pain to his entire body and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital by EMS. Damages: up to $100,000
