Moreover, Johnston’s 1,657 career kills ranks fifth all-time for the Lady Lancers. She sits 33 kills away from fourth place.

Calah Kruse’s First Team recognition was the first of her career. The junior outside hitter has pounded out 383 kills this season and has racked up 17 double-doubles. Her average of 3.3 kills/set in Crossroads League play is tied for sixth in the league. Additionally, she ranks second on the team in digs with 506.

Newcomer Ellie Harp was named Second Team All-CL as Grace’s primary setter. The junior handed out 1,027 assists for an average of 9.1 assists/set. She topped 30 assists in 19 games, including 10 games with at least 40 assists and three games of at least 50 assists.

Alix Underwood and Hannah Clemmons also appeared in the honorable mention section. Underwood recorded 146 kills on a .213 percentage before an injury ended her season after 19 matches. Clemmons made the positional change to libero this fall and has led the Lady Lancers’ defense with 535 digs. She also has connected on 97 percent of her serves.

The Lady Lancers will aim to continue their season when they travel to Oakland City on Nov. 22 for the NCCAA Midwest Regional Championship. Grace is hoping for its third consecutive trip to NCCAA Nationals in Kissimmee, Fla.
