20140312080349698_0001 (400x388) (277x345)William “Bill” F. Hamilton Jr., 75, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 9:43 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was born Oct. 7, 1938, to William A. and Madeline (Schaffer) Hamilton in Walkerton, Ind. On July 21, 1979, he married Sandra L. Hinchy in Plymouth, Ind.

He retired from the United States Agriculture Meat and Food Inspection Department. He was a member of KEMRAD (Kosciusko Emergency Radio). Bill so enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping at Jellystone Park, and traveling to casinos and the Chicago Cubs.

Bill is survived by his wife: Sandra Hamilton, Warsaw; a son: Brad (Angel) Hamilton, Warsaw; three daughters: Cathy (David) Rapp, Warsaw; Dawn (Roger) Ransbottom, Warsaw; and Rochella (Stephen) Ransom, North Judson, Ind.; two sisters: Louise Alsop, Shady Cove, Ore.; and Marie Walls, Mishawaka, Ind.; 12 grandchildren: Chrissy, Cheyenne, Sarah, Karrin, David, Tyvan, LauraBeth, Daren, Alan, Brycelyn, Mackenzie and Maxwell; 10 great-grandchildren: Jordan, Ezra, Kylie, Mia, Presley, Chloe, Jayda, Jaycee, Canton and Colt; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Lawrence Hamilton.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, March 14, at the funeral home. Pastor Terry Bradford will officiate the service. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
