Dale I. Bruce, 59, from Silver Lake, Ind., passed away at 4:46 a.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, Ind. 

He was born Aug. 27, 1954, in Warsaw to Paul and Irene Bruce. In 1973 he graduated from Warsaw Community High School. Dale was a lifetime Silver Lake resident.

He worked as head press operator for Ameri-Kan, where he had been employed for 38 years. Dale was a gun collector and NASCAR fan.

His is survived by a brother: Harold Bruce, Silver Lake; two cousins: Janice Hatfield, Mentone, Ind.; and Laurel Ewaschuk, Kalamazoo, Mich.; and his many friends at Ameri-Kan.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home and officiated by Bob Jarboe, chaplain at Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice, Warsaw. Burial is to be in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
