Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Saturday, Nov. 9, 7:27 p.m. South SR 13 and South 500 East, Sidney. Driver: Charlene K. Young, 63, West 2nd Street, North Manchester. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $10,000

Saturday, Nov. 9, 11:36 a.m. 640 West 300 North, Warsaw. A vehicle was reported damaged from possibly being backed into while in the parking lot. Damages: up to $5,000

Saturday, Nov. 9, 10:54 a.m. South Blue Spruce Road and East Sycamore Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Caleb J. Shriner, 22, South Blue Spruce Road, Warsaw. Shriner was backing from a driveway and struck a parked car. Damages: up to $2,500

Saturday, Nov. 9, 1:25 a.m. North Fox Farm Road and North 150 West, Warsaw. Driver: Jose D. Lopez, 36, Sand Castle Drive, Warsaw. Lopez was westbound on Fox Farm Road when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a ditch. He fled the scene but was apprehended just north of the scene in a field. Lopez was arrested for OWI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and operator never licensed. Damages: up to $5,000
