Bill Weirick #2Billy “Bill” Ray Weirick, 62, Tippecanoe, Ind., passed away at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, in his home with his family at his side.

Bill was born Jan. 15, 1952, to Eugene and Betty (Mullins) Weirick at Plymouth, Ind. He has been a lifelong resident of the area.

Bill was an owner/operator truck driver, Bill-Lin Trucking. In his spare time he loved being outside, bird watching, wildlife and timber cutting in the woods. He was a member of the Bourbon American Legion Post #424, Sons of the Legion and he graduated from Triton High School in class of 1970.

Bill married Linda Schulze on Oct. 12, 1991, in Tippecanoe, Ind. She survives.

Bill is survived by his wife: Linda,; three children: Jason Weirick and Judd Weirick, both of Cromwell, Ind.; and Tyler (Holly) Lozier, Tippecanoe; four grandchildren: Jeremy and James Weirick and Miley and Bentley Lozier; his mother: Betty Weirick, Crystal Lake; and a brother: Robert (Ann) Weirick, Tippecanoe.

Proceeding in death were his father; his daughter: Billie Rae Weirick; and his brother: Barry Weirick.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, March 3, at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St. Bourbon, Ind. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Stormy Scherer-Berry of Bourbon First United Methodist Church officiating.
