Maybelle J. Wintrode, 108, North Manchester, Ind., passed away at 10:20 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, in Timbercrest Healthcare Center.

She was born May 25, 1905, in Miami County, Ind., to John and Celia (Swoverland) Yoder. On April 28, 1928, she married Robert J. Wintrode. He preceded her in death.

Maybelle was a homemaker and a member of First Brethren Church in North Manchester, the Country Woman’s Club and the Manchester Garden Club.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews including: Darl Willcox, Warsaw, Ind.; Lois Haupert, Urbana, Ind.; Duane Wagner, North Manchester; Dorlan Wagner, North Manchester; Eileen Harvey, Warren, Ind.; and Larry Dean Yoder, Peru, Ind.

She is survived by three brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East St. North Manchester. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at the funeral home with Pastor Kurt Stout officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia, Ind. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to McKee Mortuary.
