Paul E. Easterday, 56, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 9:38 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw
He was born Feb. 27, 1957, in Rochester, Ind., to Walter L. and Helen (Sweany) Easterday.
A Warsaw resident, he was formerly of Rochester, Ind., and Florida. He was a 1975 graduate of Rochester High School. Paul was an avid Cubs fan, country and 70’s music fan and supporter of the Baker Youth Club of Warsaw.
He enjoyed spending summers at Pike Lake Campground and the evening bonfires. He attended all of his nieces and nephews basketball, baseball, football, girls softball and track events. Also, he loved to play wiffle ball, kickball and basketball pick-up games with his family. He was a kind, gentle and caring soul who will be greatly missed by his entire family.
He is survived by his father: Walter L. Easterday, Warsaw; a sister: Linda (Dave) Furnivall; nephews: Troy (Kim) Furnivall and Tracy (Amy) Furnivall, all of Warsaw; three great-nieces; three great-nephews; and 1 great-great-niece.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Pfeifer will officiate. Ennichment will be in St. Anne’s Episcopal Church Columbarium conducted by Pastor Corinne Hodges.
