Both Triton and Lakeland Christian Academy saw its’ volleyball seasons come to a close Thursday night.

The Trojans and the Cougars each lost in sectional semifinal action in Class 1-A.

South Central defeated Triton 25-23, 25-15, 25-17 in semifinal play at the Oregon-Davis Sectional.

South Central will face host Oregon-Davis, which beat Culver 3-1 Thursday night in the other semifinal, in the sectional final Saturday at 3 p.m. (ET).

Bethany Christian handed LCA a 25-15, 25-17, 25-7 setback in play at the Fort Wayne Blackhawk Sectional.

Bethany advances to play Hamilton, which topped Howe 3-0 in the other semifinal match Thursday night, Saturday at 7 p.m. in the sectional championship match.
