Arrests
Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently made the following arrests:

• Saturday, Oct. 19, 12:29 a.m. South Main and Channel streets. A vehicle was driven into a ditch by Becky Kern, 50, Crystal Flash Road. She was found to be intoxicated and arrested. She was charged with OWI-prior within five years.
• Friday, 2:35 a.m. SR 13 and Waco Drive. A vehicle driven by Melissa K. Zukowsky, 27, Freemont Street, Elkhart, was stopped for a traffic infraction. She was found to be intoxicated and arrested. She was charged with OWI-above.08 percent BAC.

Accident

Friday, Oct. 18, 7:16 a.m. SR 13 and Backwater Road. Drivers: Michael L. Nave, Calhoun Street, South Whitley; and Danielle L. Mabon, South 400 East, Warsaw. One drive swerved to avoid a collision and both hit a guardrail. No ages or damage amounts given.

Incident

• Wednesday, Oct. 16, 7:54 a.m. South Main Street. Sheila’s Sweet Tooth reported unknown person(s) damaged a picnic table outside the business.
• Monday, Oct. 14, 9:19 p.m. South Main Street. Freedom Express reported a female failed to pay $20 for gasoline for a green Dodge Durango.
