Naomi J. Augustine, 91, of Bourbon, Ind., passed away at 11:34 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, in Bremen Health Care and Rehabilitation.
Naomi was born July 20, 1922, to Onel and Mary (Oler) Sickmiller in Marshall County, Ind. She married Robert E. Augustine on Nov. 3, 1945. Naomi was a graduate of Plymouth High School class of 1940.
Naomi was a homemaker. She volunteered at Kosciusko Community Hospital at Warsaw, Ind., and she and Bob enjoyed being a part of the square dance club.
Naomi is survived by her daughters; Edith Eileen (Robert) Baker, Plainfield, Ill.; and Celeste Ann (Bill) Reed, Denver, Ind.; and a son: James Robert Augustine, Bourbon; four grandchildren: Michelle Renee Reynolds Mutert, Robyn Lynn Reynolds Keller, Jenifer Nicole Augustine Miller and Adam James (Liz) Augustine; five great- grandchildren: Jessica Casaz, Abigail Grace Miller, Nathan Christopher Miller, Charlotte Augustine and Jake Keller; and a sister: Juanita Jacobson, Plymouth, Ind.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; a sister: Rachel Goralczyk; and her husband: Robert.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, in Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon. A celebration of Naomi’s life will follow at 5 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor John Branch officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Bourbon.
