Angeline “Angie” Weirick, 56, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 9:55 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, after a long and hard 15-year battle with cancer.
On Nov. 9, 1957, she was born to Hershel and Mary (Blevins) Hurt in Columbus, Ohio. On April 29, 1989, she was united in marriage to Terry Weirick in Warsaw.
She worked for Superior Wood in the finishing department. She enjoyed her hobbies, woodworking, reading books, crocheting, puzzles and playing games. She also enjoyed grilled steaks; pizza and cheese dip with her favorite beverage.
She attended Warsaw Community Church, Warsaw.
Angie is survived by her husband: Terry Weirick, Warsaw; a daughter: Wendy (Jamie) McClone, Warsaw; sons: William Dawson, Warsaw; Tim (Stephanie) Dawson, Warsaw; and Charles Weirick, Warsaw; sisters: Shirley (Randy) Johnson, Warsaw; Sue (John) Caldwell, LaGrange, Ind.; and Regina Reed, Marion, Ohio; brothers: J.R. (Sue) Hurt, Atwood, Ind.; Robert (Rhonda) Hurt, Rochester, Ind.; Jack Hurt, Warsaw; and Paris Jr. Reed, Marion, Ohio; nine grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents and her dog: Daizy a/k/a Da-Doo.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at the funeral home with Pastor EJ Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
