Fall Sessions Starting At Y

Kosciusko Community YMCA will be starting a second round of fall classes on Oct. 28. Classes will run through Dec. 22. Classes in Youth Development will include swim lessons and gymnastics classes for all ages.Classes that promote the Healthy Living aspect of your Y will include group exercise and Indoor Group Cycling classes, classes for older adults and water aerobics in both the Warm Water and Lap Pools. All of these healthy living classes are now included with a Y membership.

New this fall in group exercise the Y is offering Mat Fusion, Ropes & Abs, and Family Bosu Challenge. Mat Fusion will develop flexibility and sculpting by using moving poses to strengthen, support and elongate muscles. Ropes & Abs will use training ropes to test and develop your functional strength and range of motion. In addition to being a strength training workout, Ropes and Abs is a great cardio workout. Family Bosu Challenge, for all fitness levels, gives a cardio and strength training workout on the Bosu Ball. Other, returning classes include: Interval Training, Intro to Fitness, Boot Camp, Step Challenge, Women and Weights, Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Gold, Yoga, Body Sculpt, Fantastic Abs & Arms, Circuit Intervals, and Turbo Toning.

Registration for these classes starts Oct. 14 for Y members and Oct. 21 for everyone and can take place at the North Webster or the Smith Street branch or online at www.kcymca.org.
