TOPEKA – The Warsaw freshman volleyball team went 1-1 Thursday night in action at Westview.
The frosh Tigers topped the hosts 25-10, 20-25, 15-5 and lost to Northridge 25-14, 25-17.
Chelsey Farling led Warsaw with 13 kills and Lucy Fahler had 11.
Kelly Cusick had 12 aces in the two matches for the Tigers. MegAnn Pearl and Katie Newland each had six aces and Brooklyn Crouse three. Abigail Smith led the defense with 23 digs. Newland had 17, Cusick and Pearl nine each and Anna Craig three.
Pearl had 26 assists and Fahler one block.
Warsaw is now 16-5 overall and 3-3 in the NLC. Northridge is 18-0 and Westview sits at 12-8.
The frosh Tigers play in the Plymouth Tournament Saturday.
