The Indiana Department of Transportation announce today that SR 14, between Herendeen Street and CR 200 West in Silver Lake, is closed to rebuild the railroad crossing. The official detour is from SR 15 to SR 114 to SR 13.

The work, which will improve the driving surface for motorists, is expected to be complete by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, weather permitting.
