OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMartha “Marty” Cox, 84, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 2:35 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, in Parkview Regional Medical Center of Fort Wayne, Ind.

Om March 5, 1929, she was born in Warsaw to Albert and Edna (Phillips) Hodges. She married Royce Cox on Jan. 6, 1951, in Warsaw, who survives.

Marty retired from A.M. Hodges Ready Mix and also was co-owner of Village Peddler Clothing and Fun Center Yamaha, both of Warsaw. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw, and also attended Celebrations United Methodist Church, Winona Lake, Ind.

She is survived by her husband of sixty two years: Royce Cox, Warsaw; her son: Kim (Cindi) Cox, Warsaw; two grandchildren: Cori Cox, North Webster, Ind.; and KC Cox, Warsaw; and three great- grandchildren: Sean, Shane and Sam.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at the funeral home with Pastor Cindy Gackenheimer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
