Felony and misdemeanor charges are being sought against a Syracuse man who allegedly pulled a knife on his wife and threatened a police officer.

Syracuse Police Chief Tony Ciriello said the suspect, Daniel Parks, 33, allegedly pulled a knife on his wife and slapped her. When he was taken into police custody to be transported for a mental health evaluation, he threatened to kill the police officer.

Ciriello said said felony charges of criminal reckless while armed with a deadly weapon and domestic battery, and a misdemeanor charge of intimidation to a law enforcement officer will be filed against Parks.
