BOURBON – The Triton boys’ tennis team made it two league wins this week Tuesday evening.

The host Trojans rolled past Northern State Conference foe New Prairie 4-1.

Dean Howdeshell led the way for the winners with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles for the Trojans.

Jared Fisher posted a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles for Triton.

The Trojans won both doubles matches in convincing fashion. The team of Lucas Shafffer and Darrin Harrell won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 and the duo of Jake Oldham and Austin Sellers posted a 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 2 doubles.

Triton improves to 8-5 overall and 3-1 in the NSC.

Triton won the junior varsity match 3-1.

The Trojans continue NSC action at Jimtown Wednesday.
