Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Thursday, Sept. 12, 12:54 a.m. Officers were called to the 4100 block of North Allen Lane, Warsaw, for a fight.
- Thursday, Sept. 12, 8:58 a.m. Officers investigated what was determined to be a natural death in the 8700 block of South Sunnyside Lane, Silver Lake.
Pierceton Police Department
Officers of the Pierceton Police Department recently investigated the following incident:
- Thursday, Sept. 12, 11:32 a.m. Officers took a report of a missing person, identified as Casey L. McCarthy, 19, of Pierceton. McCarthy was later arrested and charged with auto theft when a disabled vehicle was located and found to be stolen. McCarthy was captured by police in Bourbon and said he had run away.
Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Thursday, Sept. 12, 2 a.m. An attempted burglary and criminal mischief was reported in the 1700 block of Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw. The resident reported a window screen had been cut as if someone attempted to enter the home.
- Thursday, Sept. 12, 8:05 a.m. Wendy Steller reported the theft of a bicycle from the 500 block of West Winona Avenue.
- Thursday, Sept. 12, 4 p.m. Florence Starkey reported damages to a window in the 500 block of East Center Street.
- Thursday, Sept. 12, 4:04 p.m. Officers took a report of intimidate in the 400 block of South Buffalo Street.
- Thursday, Sept. 12, 4:59 p.m. A purse was located in the 2100 block of East Fort Wayne Street.
