BOURBON – The Triton boys tennis team dropped a 4-1 final to non-conference foe Bethany Christian at home Saturday.

Senior Dean Howdeshell collected the lone point for the Trojans. He posted a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles.

The Trojans had to alter their lineup as No. 2 doubles player Jake Oldham was attending a wedding.

Bethany Christian improves to 7-1 on the season. Triton is now 5-4.

Bethany won the junior varsity contest 6-0.

Triton hosts Tippecanoe Valley Tuesday.
