WARSAW – The Northern Indiana Youth 13U Travel Baseball team, known as the Outlaws, will hold open tryouts on Sept. 8.

The tryouts for the team, based in Warsaw, will begin at noon at Boggs Park in Warsaw. Players should arrive at 11:30 a.m. to register.

The tryouts are open to anyone who will not turn 14 years old before May 1, 2014. Players should be committed to playing on a competitive team from fall through next summer and committed to practices and a tournament schedule.

Players attending the tryout on Sept. 8 should bring their own gear, including gloves, bats, cleats, helmets and catching gear if they plan to tryout for catch. Players are asked to wear baseball pants and no shorts for the tryout and should bring something to drink.
