One local business is working to improve the lives of an employee and his wife who is battling stage four breast cancer.

Today until 5 p.m. and tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Ameri-Kan will be hosting a garage sale at its location on Anchorage Rd., in Warsaw to assist in offsetting some of the financial burden the family has experience as a result from this long battle.

Items for sale will include knick-knacks, small appliances, kids clothes, adult clothes (including shoes, belts and coats), antique boat motors, electric pumps, exercise equipment, nascar items, baked goods and lamps.
