A first look at the new design for both Lutheran Air helicopters that was unveiled today in Wabash during a ceremonial groundbreaking for Lutheran Air II’s new hangar. The Hagerman Group structure is scheduled to be completed later this year.

Lutheran Air II is set to arrive in October and will use an existing hangar at Wabash Municipal Airport until construction on the new one is done. A new Lutheran Air is scheduled to make its maiden voyage to Fort Wayne in early 2014. Both will be EC135 aircraft. The current Lutheran Air is a BK117.
