Klinger, George obit photoGeorge E. Klinger, 75, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 7:25 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Ind.

He was an accountant and owned Klinger Accounting since 1972, and he farmed since 1996. He was a member of many accounting organizations, member of the American Legion Post #49 of Warsaw and Atwood Lions Club; and he served in the U.S. Army.

He was born on April 3, 1938, in Kosciusko County, Ind., to Howard Klinger and Mildred (Bickel) Klinger. On June 6, 1965, he was married to Martha (Drudge) Klinger, who survives in Warsaw.

He also leaves behind his son: Brian R. Klinger, Etna Green, Ind.; a daughter: Vicki L. Klinger, Etna Green; and three brothers: DeWayne (Evie) Klinger, Mineral Springs, Ohio; Marvin Klinger, Marion, Ind.; Bill (Debby) Klinger, Seymour, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home and officiated by Pastor Bob Wyman. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
