Tippecanoe Valley High School junior Brandon Murphy and senior Anna Higgins are the new student representatives to the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation Board of School Trustees. Their first meeting was Monday evening.

The daughter of Joel and Jenny Higgins of Claypool, Anna is a member of the swim team and student council and participated last year in the Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy. Anna plans to become a speech pathologist.

The son of Eric and Jennifer Murphy of Akron, Brandon is a member of the football and track teams, student council, and serves as a peer facilitator. Brandon is considering a career as a teacher or doctor.
