Carolyn Reahard, 88, of North Manchester, Ind., passed away at 9:08 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born Dec. 2, 1924, in North Manchester, Ind., to Darley R. and Marie (Heeter) Seitner. She graduated from Central High School, North Manchester, in 1942 and attended Manchester College. On March 10, 1945, she married Thomas Rex Reahard. He preceded her in death.

Carolyn was employed from 1943-1946 in the office of Warner Brooder, North Manchester, and later in the office of Peabody Seating Co., North Manchester, where she retired from in 1984.

She was a member of North Manchester United Methodist Church, North Manchester, and was a member and past President of the Faith Circle.

She is survived by her sister-in-law: Mary Reahard, North Manchester; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son: Paul Thomas Reahard; and one brother.

Visitation took place Saturday, Aug. 3, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 W., North Manchester, and one hour prior to services on Sunday, Aug. 4, at United Methodist Church, North Manchester. Reverend Bill Hemmig and Pastor Mark Eastway officiated.  Burial took place in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
