Neher has been on the department for just over a year and, upon successful completion of his probationary period, was officially sworn in during the Warsaw Board of Public Works and Safety meeting by Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer.

Following the oath of office, Neher’s father, Claypool Assistant Fire Chief Larry Neher, pinned the badge on his son’s uniform. Larry Neher has been a fire fighter since 1984.
