Dennis L. “Den” Applegate, 49, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 11:52 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.

Den, a lifetime Warsaw resident was born March 7, 1964, and was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School.

He had been employed in management by NIA in Nappanee, Ind. He was a member of Warsaw Community Church and was a volunteer worker for Kosciusko County Senior Services. He loved his dog, Lucy, and his cat, Ariel.

Den is survived by his parents: Marie and Lloyd Applegate; a half sister: Ilah Applegate; and half brother and sister-in-law: Richard “Rich” and Veronica Applegate, all of Warsaw.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

At Den’s request, there will be no visitation or services.
