Klinger, Wendall obit photoWendall D. Klinger, 56, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 4:05 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at his residence.

He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Ind., and worked for 35 years for Dalton Foundries of Warsaw and was working as the lead utility laborer until his passing.

He was born on April 4, 1957, in Warsaw, Ind., to Duane Klinger, who survives and the late Shirley (Hively) Rohrer who died in 2002. On Dec. 23, 1978, he was married to Dawn M. Grubbs, who survives in Warsaw.

He will also be lovingly remembered by his two sons:  Steve Klinger, Warsaw; Erik Klinger, South Whitley, Ind.; and seven grandchildren: Wyatt and Wayne Klinger, Willow Allen, Wesley and Blaze Farthing, Jordyn Elser and Christopher; his father: Duane Klinger, Ohio; two brothers: Rock (Bev) Klinger, Three Rivers, Mich.; Kevin Klinger, Warsaw; and four sisters: Deb Klinger, Colorado; Pam (Mark) Falk, Sidney, Ind.; Karen (Pat) Ihnen, Silver Lake, Ind.; Kathy Drake, Atwood, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father: Shirley and Vern Rohrer; and his daughter: Melissa Grubbs.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Terry Bradford. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
