Pagel-300x225Duane A. Pagel, 80, of Cheyenne, Wyo., passed away Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 3, 1933, in Warsaw Township, Minnesota.

Mr. Pagel served in the U.S. Army. He was a radio broadcaster for many years in Warsaw, Ind., later working in advertising for The Papers Inc., Milford, Ind.

Duane enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and grand-dog, hunting, target shooting, cars and was an avid card player.

He is survived by three children: Keith Pagel, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Kim Pagel, Baton Rouge, La.; and Karen (Bob) Womack, Cheyenne; two sisters: Joann Bryan and Sharyl Shanen-Raya, both of Sacramento, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be sent to the American Legion’s Junior Shooting Program, Elk Foundation, or Ducks Unlimited.
