PIERCETON – Plymouth capped its perfect baseball tournament run by downing Nappanee 10-1 Monday night.

Plymouth posted a 4-0 mark to claim the championship of the Senior District 11 12-U Town and Country Tournament.

The champions advance to the 12-U semi state after winning the eight-team, five-day event. Also advancing are teams from Nappanee, Mentone and Manchester.

The Pierceton Youth League will host the 12-U State tournament in a couple of weeks. The league hosts the 10-U Semistate starting on Thursday.
