Andy Nickerson, 47, of South Bend, Ind., passed away on Nov. 16, 2013, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born on Oct. 28, 1966, in Fulda, Germany to Lloyd and Karin (Lichtner) Nickerson.

Andy was a beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother and son. His passions in life were taking care of his wife, Debra, and remodeling, cooking, movies and his pets.

He is survived by his wife: Debra Nickerson; his mother: Karin Nickerson; brothers: Nick (Coleen) Nickerson and Duane Nickerson; his children: Ashlee (Steve) Flowers, Ean (Brittany) Nickerson, Sheena (Billy) Fredrickson, K.C (Daniel) Nickerson and Hailey Nickerson; his step children: David Macklin, Jenny Macklin, Tiffany Macklin and Tyler Macklin; 10 grandchildren; and three step grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Abundant Life Fellowship Church at 51980 Portage Rd., South Bend, with a memorial service at 7 pm. Pastor Dave Spurlock of the church will officiate.
