North Webster Police Reports
Incidents
Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Sunday, July 7, 12:30 p.m. South Main Street. Owner of Cluttered Cottage reported that a decorative bicycle had been stolen from the front of the store sometime overnight. It was recovered later in the day.
- Friday, July 5, 12:05 p.m. East North Street and Stanely Street. A stray dog was found in the area and taken to the Kosciusko County Animal Shelter.
- Monday, July 1, 4:15 p.m. East Huntington Street. Monique Hedke reported two I-phones stolen. One was later recovered and returned. Charges will be requested against the suspect for criminal mischief and theft.
Accident
Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently investigated the following accident:
Friday, July 5, 11:05 a.m. South SR 13. Vehicle driven by Lisa D. Schmidt, South 12th Street, Goshen, collided with a vehicle driven by Brian D. Bartholonew, North SR 13, Pierceton. No further information reported.
Arrest
Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently made the following arrest:
Thursday, July 4, 2:39 a.m. East Washington Street and North Main Street. A vehicle driven by Robert Wade, 22, West 350S-57, Pierceton, was stopped when ignited fireworks were thrown from the vehicle. Wade was intoxicated with a BAC of above .08 percent and was arrested for operating while intoxicated.
