Craig J. Arthur, 64, of North Webster, Ind., passed away at 1 a.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Courtyard Healthcare in Goshen, Ind.

He was born on Sept. 30, 1948, in Union City, Ind., to Max J. and Barbara L. (Cotter) Arthur. He graduated in 1966 from Union City High School and attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.

He served in the US Army during Vietnam. He moved to the Syracuse/North Webster area 30 years ago from Union City. He formerly worked at Royal Crown in Milford, Ind., for a few years and Premier Plastics in Syracuse, Ind., for 18 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.

He is survived by his brother: Dan (Dana) Arthur, Syracuse; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, J. Brian Arthur.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, July 12, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 12, in the funeral home with Hospice Pastor from Harbor Light Hospice officiating. Burial will take place in the Union City Cemetery.
