Turkey Creek Fire Territory conducted its annual summer chicken and pork chop barbecue Saturday at Station 1, 402 N. Huntington St., Syracuse.

The annual event helps raise money for firefighting tools.

The weather held during the morning, contributing to brisk sales of the over 600 pieces of each kind of meat.

The department sold out in the early afternoon.
