Eric W. Hoskin, 38, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, in his home after a brave and life-long battle with ill health.
He was born July 8, 1975, in Fayetteville, N.C., to Jon K. and Vera L. (Peacock) Hoskin. He was a 1994 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and lived in Warsaw most of his life.
Most recently he was a packer for Spartech. Additionally he had worked for Cortech, Kroger, McQuick’s, Kohl’s and R.R. Donnelley’s
Eric enjoyed going to car shows with his friends; had a unique ability to design and customize vehicles and was especially known for customizing speaker systems in vehicles. Most of all he loved and was proud of his sons and enjoyed spending time with them. He was known for his undaunted courage in life, his ability to make friends wherever he went and the tendency to smile no matter what the circumstances.
Eric is survived by two sons: Braxton Shultz, Claypool, Ind.; and Noah Aaron Hoskin, New Haven, Ind.; his mother: Vera Lee Charlton, Warsaw; his father: Jon Hoskin, Niles, Mich.; a sister: Shana Lyn (Jason) Ort, Warsaw; and a brother: Saber Lauren Charlton, Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and an uncle: Paul Peacock.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Bob Jarboe, Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice chaplain.
