Barbara Inez Drudge, 75, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 1:50 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at her residence after a long illness.
She was born Oct. 9, 1938, in Knoxville, Tenn., to Howard and Lottie (Staniffer) M. Earl, both of whom preceded her in death.
On Oct. 3, 1960, in Clintwood, Va., she was united in marriage to Donald Dean Drudge, who survives. Barbara was employed as a welder by Sun Metal in both Warsaw and North Manchester for over 25 years.
For many years, Barb enjoyed bowling on various Warsaw leagues, traveling around and camping with her family and playing cards with lifelong friends at the Pierceton American Legion where she was a member of the auxiliary for 29 years. Barbara always enjoyed an evening of playing bingo in her sister and daughter.
She is survived by her husband: Donald Drudge, Warsaw; a daughter: Deborah (Ronny) Shelton, Warsaw; a son: Darl D. Drudge, Warsaw; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers: Arville Earl and Frank Earl, both of Warsaw; four sisters: Annebelle Lambert, Flint, Mich.; Mary Markley, White Pigeon, Mich.; Lucille Mullins, White Pigeon, Mich.; and Francis Cormican, Kingsford Heights, Ind.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Elbert Earl.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Jarboe. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton, Ind.
