1145542_profile_picMark Wayne Douglas, 62, of Silver Lake, Ind., passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.

Mark was born Oct. 31, 1950, in Buckhannon, W.V., to Robert Kale and Alma Ruby (Manley) Douglas. On Dec. 23, 1968, in Marion, Ohio, Mark and Janet Agnes Hiler were married.

Mark was a truck driver for 39 years and owned and operated his own rig. He loved to play cards, go fishing and work on cars.

He is survived by his wife: Janet Douglas; a son: David Douglas; and daughter: Jodi Pruitt, all of Silver Lake, Ind.; four grandchildren: Tim Jayne, Paige Pruitt and Courtney Pruit, all of Silver Lake; and Jacinda Wuthrich, Burket, Ind.; two great-grandchildren: Emma and Ayden; and a sister and brother-in-law: Jerri and Glen Miley, Marion, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: David Douglas and Robert Douglas Jr.

Visitation is set for 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, Ind. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Marion.
