Rarick, Loretta obit photoLoretta Lucille Rarick, 91, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 1:05 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, in her residence at Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw.

She was a homemaker and worked alongside her husband on the family farm. Loretta was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Warsaw, former member of Bourbon Bible Church, and she was always involved in church activities as a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School, the Mission Band and Ladies Group.

She was born Dec. 26, 1921, in Chicago, Ill., to George and Emma Wunderlick. On July 29, 1939, she was married to Luther Downing Rarick, who preceded her in death on April 23, 2009.

She is survived by her two sons: Donald (Carolyn) Rarick, Warsaw; Mark (Sandra) Rarick, Fort Wayne, Ind.; four grandchildren: Steven (Tammy) Rarick, Terre Haute, Ind.; Daniel Rarick, Warsaw; Andrew Rarick, Fort Wayne; Rebecca Rarick, Fort Wayne; one great-grandson:Tommy Rarick, Terre Haute; and her sister: Jean Dumas, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter: Carol Ann Rarick; two sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor Layne Sumner. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery of Warsaw.
