Daniel Stark Heeter Jr., 61, of Silver Lake, Ind., and formerly of Indianapolis, Ind., passed away at 9:54 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Ind.

He was born Jan. 22, 1952, in Indianapolis to Daniel S. Heeter Sr. and Edith B. (Bivens) Heeter. He resided in Silver Lake for about the last 5 years.

He is survived by a sister: Betty J. Heeter, Gainesville, Fla.; nieces and nephews and several friends.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Washington Park North Cemetery Chapel, Indianapolis, with Rev. Lenore Williams of St. John AME Church, Indianapolis, officiating.
