Members of the Warsaw Public Works and Street Department removed a tree on Detroit Street today. In conjunction with the removal, a small section of Detroit Street, between Winona Avenue and Pope Street, were closed while the tree was removed.

According to workers on scene, the tree had several limbs that were dead or dying that could have presented a safety issue if left standing.
