2288277Andrew DeWayne Ginther, 30, of Bremen, Ind., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013.

He was born on Jan. 24, 1983, to Herman and Lori Ann (Yarian) Ginther in South Bend, Ind. Andy graduated from Bremen High School in 2002.

It was no surprise that he continued his work in local fields as a farmer. His passions often took him outdoors; he loved water skiing, snowmobiling, four wheeling, and working in his yard. When the fish were biting, he loved to cast a reel close to home and in Minnesota with his Dad. Andy was very family oriented and couldn’t have loved his son AJ anymore than he did.

he is survived by his parents: Herman (Loraine) Ginther, Bremen; and Lori Ann (Dale) Rex, Argos, Ind.; his son: Andrew James ‘AJ’ Ginther, Bremen; his sister: Emily Ann (Daniel) Richards, Bremen; a step-sister: Elisabeth Sheaks Davis, Indianapolis, Ind.; three step-brothers: Dale Rex Jr., Fort Wayne, Ind.; Deven Rex, Argos; and Casey Sheaks, Lakeville, Ind.; a paternal grandmother: Delores Ginther, Bremen; a maternal grandmother: Mary Ann (Kenny) Yarian, Michigan; a paternal grandfather: Herman (Rose) Ginther, Cromwell, Ind.; a maternal great-grandmother: LaVanch Yarian, Bremen; a girlfriend, with whom he lived: Shelley Connon, Bremen; two nieces: Alyssa Richards and Jazlyn Richards; a nephew: Jensen Richards; a great-nephew: Thomas Gordy; his cherished dog: Thunder; his cat: Cat; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents: Bob and Ruth Kiefer; a great-grandfather: Earl Yarian; and a great-grandfather: Ray Ginther.

Visitation will take place from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. A funeral service in Andy’s honor will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the funeral home. Andy’s cousin, Roby Nichols and friend, Josh Walter will officiate with burial following in the Bremen Cemetery.
